About FSR

The International Banking Cycle is a prestigious event of the Financial Study association Rotterdam (FSR) which is, with approximately 1000 members, the largest study association of the Erasmus University Rotterdam. The FSR is the study association for financially orientated students, in particular for students with a specialization in Finance, Accountancy and Control. The ambition of the FSR is to bridge the gap between theory, as taught in lectures, and the dynamic financial world in practice. This will be accomplished by organizing activities and events like workshops, company visits, presentations, study trips and company drinks. The FSR has excellent contacts in business and a strong relationship with the Division of Accountancy and Finance of the Erasmus University Rotterdam. The FSR also organizes activities nationwide in cooperation with a joint union named the Financial Association Netherlands (FAN).

Five times a year the Financial Study association Rotterdam publishes the magazine 'FSR Forum', which is distributed to all members. This magazine contains scientific articles from our fields of study, some interesting company presentations and news about the FSR.
